a moment i enjoyed with my family

One may develop many relationships in his lifetime such as friends, business partners and associates. No matter how many ties one may establish, nothing can come close to his own family. One's family is the most important relation he can have in his lifetime. Not only does a family lay the basic foundations for one, it also showers affection and care for each of its members. That is why spending time with your family is very important. However, as time passes people are getting more busy and stressed. Thus many are not able to spend time with their family and the unity and close relationship between family members drift away. This is exactly what happened in my family.
My father who is an engineer, and my mother who is a nurse usually work until late hours before returning home. Because of their jobs, I could not spend time with them often. Obviously I could not blame them as they were working for the good welfare of their family. My brother was carrying out his service in the army, so I usually would be alone at home. My activities would usually be monotonous: I would return home, study, play and go to sleep. Just like my everyday routine, I returned home from school today. As I opened the door I was surprised to see my mum. As she caught sight of me, she greeted me with a friendly smile. A sense of happiness took over me. I was happy to receive a warm greeting as I entered the house. As I took a few steps into the house, my eyes caught another surprising sight. My father and my brother were sitting in the sofa in the balcony and watching the television. I could not believe my eyes; were my eyes playing hallucinations in me.
As I went and sat with them, my father enquired how school was and how I was doing in school. As I answered him, I felt glad that there was still someone who cared about me. After a few minutes, My father suggested that we go for to a restaurant to have dinner together. As we arrived at the restaurant my father ordered a few dishes. As the dishes arrived at our table we began indulging into the food. As we dined we began to chat merrily. I rfelt happy and at ease with my parents. It was only a simple dinner but it meant a lot to me. As we finished our food, we began to make our way back home. This was a unforgettable day in my life.
